Chloé Van Gogh print dress
Belt taken from a Kate Spade dress
Studded cuff and watch
Rachel Comey Barbaro boots (without studs here)
I took my new elfin boots for a spin and wore them to campus. They were comfy! What I noticed about the above two photos is how much my hair settled over the course of a day. The left was taken as soon as I got to campus and the right was after a few hours. I guess I should be using hair spray to compensate (cause I am a fan of big hair). Anyway, I've worn this dress many times before. Last Thursday was the first time I wore it this semester. Terri from Rags Against the Machine astutely pointed out via comment that one of the great things about professorial work is how every semester you have a fresh start with your wardrobe (since the majority of folks you encounter have never seen it before). Here's a shot of my weird but cool elf boots:

Those shoes! So adorable on you, and the dress is great! I am on the lookout for something similar.
I mean similar as in the shoes :)
I love those shoes!!! That dress is darling and I am glad you pulled it out again.
yay, for favourites- and what a great point on having a whole new set of students every year! Great choice on the booties- they`re beautiful, and I love the little studs!

The print of that dress is amazing, and those boots are fierce! Love Rachel Comey.
I think this is my favorite outfit that you've ever posted! I love everything about this look....you look so hip and cool!
I love the print on that dress! Those booties are cute too. I need to find a pair that fits my crazy criteria. I'm very picky, LOL.
