In the Navy OOTD
Thanks to those of you who commented so sweetly on my previous post! I promise to share more details in the coming weeks. I have a bunch of Anthro reviews to get through that I did before there were any significant changes to my figure. And I have been searching for maternity lines as well as regular but stretchy brands that can allow my to bridge my style comfort zone with being ... comfortable. :)
I wore this to run some errands and take care of business. It was simple and comfortable during a pretty intense May heat wave. I feel really sensitive to the heat lately and hope that the warm winter and early heat doesn't portend temperatures to come. If my home had central air conditioning, it would be less of a concern, but it is an older place with giant radiators and hot water heat. So the process of installing a forced air duct system would be expensive and invasive. I should keep more Popsicles in my freezer!
Outfit info:
Anthropologie top (similar here, here, and here; similar plus; similar maternity)
Anthropologie Drawing Parallels skirt (similar here, here, and here)
Chloé flats (this season's version here; similar but for less here)
Vintage Alviero Martini bag (similar here and here)
I'll be back tomorrow with a super exciting giveaway opportunity so be sure to check in!

Jess, just saw your super-exciting news in your last post and a big congratulations is in order for the two of you. It is such a special moment and wish you all the best in this new journey. Can't wait to see how you maintain and dress for the occassion ;)
Late as well, but congratulations!!! I'm with you, I'm very sensitive to heat as well and I don't enjoy the humid heat waves here in Toronto, so I hope you stay cool while you're pregnant. :)
YAY!!!!! SO excited for you!
Speck! I love his little face! Love your outfit too!
Congrats! I'm so happy for you and am excited to see what you start wearing because I am not doing so well in that department lately ... I think you're about 4 weeks behind me. I hope you're feeling well.
I love your outfit, Speck and the Jasper Johns print!!
I am late in congratulations, but congratulations! There must be something in the air -- so many people I know have announced pregnancies lately!
Thank you! I agree. Although I don't know any Pittsburghers with this news, so many of my far away friends are also in the "pudding club." :)
Thank you! The print was a wedding gift from Chris's stepfather who is an emeritus professor of art history. Our walls are outfitted beautifully thanks to his good taste and generosity.
Thank you! I love when your fur babies photobomb your pics too. :)
Thanks so much! I'm really excited too!
Thank you! The heat broke, thankfully and it has been much more comfortable.
Thank you, Dea! I am nervous about maintaining my style when it seems so much of maternity wear is very... not me. But I am going to do my best to get creative and to track down some pieces that fit a belly but are still me.
