I had to have the Tommy Hilfiger Library dress when I first saw it and feel no regrets about the purchase. As I said in my review, I do wish the books weren't branded but unless you are up close, it is hard to tell. I wore this to campus for meetings and teaching and felt both comfortable and stylish.

Hi Jess, I bought the library dress after seeing your review and I love it too. I'm a librarian, so it is very appropriate! Did you have any problems with the dress clinging to your tights? I think I might need to buy some anti-static spray!
Hi Jess, I am so glad you got this dress as it is very fitting to your profession! I haven't had issues with the dress clinging to tights but I wore a full slip underneath. This was more because of my own concern over the button front (and potential gaps that might make skin visible in the classroom) than tights clinging but I do this whenever I have a dress where tights cling and it seems to help. I love these kinds of prints that are just small enough to look like little splashes of colour and then turn into a delightful print as you get closer...I have my eye on an almost subtle cat camo dress by Peter Som at anthro- I think that's the closest I can allow my cat fancy to show. I hope to get to appreciate a book print someday too...:)
