We're Having a Heat Wave! Anthropologie Outfit of Cooler Climes

Many 90+ degree days with no end to the madness in sight! It is so hot lately that the only thing I can bear to wear is my bathing suit with a chemise over top of it. Instead I am posting an outfit from late last week when the conditions were more conducive to dressing cute and comfortably. If I was an international jet setter I'd could wear this to a Safari themed cafe or something. But instead I wore it to the Post Office and to an otherwise casual dinner.
Cartography Cardigan from Anthropologie (similar here and here)
Lauren Moffatt gold threaded Skirt from Anthropologie of yesteryear (similar here, here, and here)
James Perse t-shirt
Miu Miu "Bufalo Cabachon" flats
Alviero Martini Map Print Leather Satchel from Ebay
Color me envious of those of you who can wear tights this time of year cause I am dreaming of fall! I'll be back with some fall wishlist items today or tomorrow.

It's 90 and you're rocking a cardi! You are too funny. It's frigid here, and I'm wearing tights today. Even though I wish it were warmer, I wouldn't trade for the 90 degree weather.

Stay cool, Jess!

hahaha Tien! I know this is confusing. I am not rocking a cardi though... I am too comfort conscious and practical to do so! I am wearing my pool clothes and heading out soon to one of the city park pools. But this is an outfit from last week that I didn't post cause I feel like I posted that cardi a million times already in outfits of mine. I am seriously sometimes too monogamous a dresser.

Love the cardi and flats. At first, I thought you were wearing this outfit today and I was in awe of your supremely cool inner core. Stay cool!

Everytime I see that cardi on you, I love it. The skirt is great, I think the outfit is very pretty. I don't think you've worn the cardi too much. It's a really versatile piece. Even thoughit has a print it seems to function like a neutral.

Keep cool :)

That cardi looks great on you. Everytime I see it on you, I think it looks great on you! I didn't even care for it too much before. I mean... it's a MAP! But you really pull it off!

Jess--I swore I read the post, but I completely missed the line where you said you wore it last week. I'm trying to cut back on my coffee, so I'm going to use that as my excuse.

I love that you have found so many wonderful ways to wear your Cartography cardigan.

I am sorry to hear that it's so hot in Pittsburgh. It's nearly freezing here at night. I'm not complaining though because I find it easier to dress for cooler weather. Sending *cooler temp vibes* your way.

Rad, Thank you!

Desert Flower, I wear this cardigan A LOT! haha but I love it.

Ady, Thanks so much! I think this is my own patterned cardigan and it seemed like it was a risky purchase even on sale.

Tien, I sort of buried that fact in the text so no worries!

Cat, thanks so much!

Carole, I wish I was in Northern California. I envy the ability of you and Tien and GoldenMeans to wear tights right now.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE that Lauren Moffatt skirt and am still kicking myself in the butt for not getting it. I remember it was when high waisted skirts started to come back in and I was so hesitant to try it but it always looks fab on someone else. I really love the colors of this outfit too!

Tres Tippy, Thank you! I got it for a bargain price I think because people were nervous to adopt this particular shape.
