Postpartum Skincare and a Giveaway!

I have had acne-prone, oily skin my entire adult life and have mostly avoided products that my dermatologist hasn't green-lit. Because of this, soon after I found out I was pregnant last year, I scheduled two appointments: 1. to establish care with a midwives group in the local women's hospital and 2. to check in with my dermatologist about pregnancy skincare. While visiting with my derm, I decided to get a Clarisonic to compensate for the prescription medications I couldn't safely use. And I am still using mine. But my postpartum skin has suffered from hormonal fluctuations, stress, and sleep deprivation. So when a representative from Bioque asked me if I would host a giveaway and review their line, I was excited.

I used the products for the last few weeks and have noticed my skin seems hydrated, bright, and (mostly) clear. I had a positive experience with each of the products but really love the Serum XL. The C-Plus cream is incredibly rich which would be great for dryer skin but feels a bit thick for me in summertime. Sometimes when I used new products they sting or cause my skin to react unfavorably (hence my relying on mostly derm-recommended items) but these haven't given me any problems.

And now you can win your own trio of Bioque products! One lucky winner (US entrants, only) will receive the Gentle Purifying Skin Cleanser, the C-Plus Moisturizing Cream, and the Serum XL from Bioque. There are many ways to win. See below!

I'm curious about these products. These past few years I've felt like my skin is on a roller coaster! (I think it started with a combo of grad school, moving to another city, and turning 30.)Now that I'm technically mid-30s, I still don't have it all under control. My skin tip? Don't overwash! I totally did this when I was in my teens and started to do it again in my 30s...my skin was so unhappy!

Cheers, and thanks for the giveaway.

I still totally put Preparation H under my eyes.

I'm still looking for my "trick". I just make sure to remove all my make-up at night and apply a good moisturizer.

The serum sounds lovely, it's always exciting to me when you find a skin care product that reacts nicely. I tried a new moisturizer once and woke up with a horribly broken out forehead. It can be a bit unnerving to branch out.

I was looking for a new serum. I have been trying to switch to natural skin care products but there not much option and most of them have some sort of oil which can clog my pores in my forehead. I am tempted to try these ones.

I don't really have any skin care trick.. but I would like to start a skin care routine. I use face wash from trader joe's which I actually really like. It's the all-in-one face wash.

I have used ProActive for several years and it really made a difference for me. But as I am getting older it seems to be less effective and I would like to try something new.

My favorite skincare trick is to splash cold water on my face immediately after I wake up. It energerizes me and leave my face feel clean and fresh!

My favorite skincare trick is using olive oil and salt as a scrub.
