A few years ago I was so fortunate to be among the recipients of an American Fellowship from the
American Association of University Women. Recently the AAUW contacted me about being the subject for a profile on their blog that would trace how the fellowship award helped launch my career, how pregnancy has shaped my professional identity, and how my blog creates a fun outlet for creativity that ties into at least some of my research and teaching.
