I know not all my readers are from Pittsburgh but I was so thrilled to get an invitation in the mail for the opening party and benefit at the new Bakery Square Anthropologie that I had to share it! Isn't it adorable? If you squint you can see that 10% of the sales will go to The Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. I had already mapped in my head exactly what I was going to buy until I looked again at the date, and my heart sunk.
That Thursday evening, Chris and I will already be in Chicago for a long weekend, to attend a wedding, eat at either Frontera Grill or Avec, and if all goes according to plan, meet Kim of Anthroholic! Although I am disappointed to be missing out on this coup for City of Pittsburgh shoppers, I am comforted by such exciting travel plans.
And the good news is this means Anthropologie Bakery Square will be open in June as planned! It will be so much more convenient to city-dwellers than the Galleria location in Mt. Lebanon.

Awww bummer that you have to miss the opening, but trust me, the store openings are very different than any other day at an Anthro store - they don't do anything special. Besides, I'll take you to anthro here and we'll have more fun :-)
That is good to know! I remember your blogging about the new Chicago store and wasn't sure of what to expect. The Chicago Anthro I visited was nicer than any I've ever seen (well, it tied with the Boylston St., Boston and Georgetown/DC ones), so I am thrilled to make a return! And to be accompanied by The Anthroholic, herself. :)
How fun that you get to meet up with Kim. Let us know how it goes.
What an adorable little invitation. They have such charming graphics on everything they do. Sorry you're going to miss the opening, but going to meet Kim will be much more fabulous!
very cute invite! i will probably be avoiding the hubbub there though :/
