A few more Anthropologie Dress Reviews

I walked into the store wearing the Doubly Dapper dress and immediately spotted this similar number also from Tabitha called the Tweedy Leaves dress.  I grabbed a 10 since that was what I was wearing in the other similar dress but learned that the Tweedy Leaves runs a bit larger. The wool skirt's pleating gives it more hip room than Doubly Dapper's cotton a-line shape. The saturated and pretty silk top was as blousey if not more so than Doubly Dapper. Over all, I would say this dress ran true to size and I could have probably fit an 8 better than the 10 above. The quality of this dress was very nice in my opinion but at $158 retail, I am going to wishlist it and hope for a sale.

The adorable and neutral but feminine bird print of the Southward Stop shirtdress was even more lovely in person. I grabbed an 8 not knowing what to expect and it was just about perfect, fitwise. Once I had it on I wished I had brought a 6 with me just to try though I think that would have been too small in the hips. This one runs a bit larger than the Tabitha dresses. Not nearly as large as the Two-Wheeler, but on the large side of true, nonetheless. I love the print and think this can be made fall-appropriate really easily! The value is nice for the slightly lower dress price point.

Seaside Fields was a dress that looked very cool in person. The surprising combo of chartreuse with a purple and gray skirt print worked well together.  I grabbed an 8 but needed a 10. This was narrow through the hips but fit well up top. This dress wasn't really working on me so I am going to pass but I did think it looked a lot cuter in person than on the website.

Lastly, I am so late to the tea party but the Sugar and Cream dress was so pretty in person! I grabbed an 8 and found it to run large. I wished I had tried the 6. The bottom half was longer than your average Anthropologie dress so that will be good for taller ladies. I had a lot of room in the top, waist, and hips.

I will be back this weekend with a giveaway announcement because I noticed I hit a milestone number in google readers/followers. Thank you all for your help yesterday regarding the Babergh!
