First Day of Spring Semester OOTD

Alma Mater Blazer (from Anthro)
Vince cashmere sweaterdress
Spanx Tight End Tights
Rosegold Liz booties
Wax stamp initial necklace

Still fighting my head cold, I begrudgingly returned to the classroom to make a gross first impression on my students. Knowing I would be coughing and sneezing and generally in lethargic spirits on day 1, I tried to find something professional but interesting to wear. The Alma Mater blazer was a perfect option. Unfortunately you can see my slip in this photo. When I wear tights and a sweaterdress slips are a must or else static cling will plague me all day long.

Just a slight wardrobe malfunction. Good thing you took this picture before class started. At least you are now aware of the SLIP up. Or down! LOL! Very professional look. But still fun since the skirt is not too long. Get well soon. Happy New Year!

Oh no, it's so tough being sick teaching, and especially teaching a first class. I hope you and your voice made it through okay, and on the plus side, you probably made a great and stylish visual first impression -- your outfit is awesome!

I love this professional look. I think that the blazer is interesting and fun and paired with a sweaterdress, it exudes both authority and spirit. :)

I love this look on you! I never had any college professors that dressed even half as cute as you!

This look is AWESOME on you. Totally accentuates your waist. I love it, from one professor to another. :)

heh- I often have slightly slipping slips- it's so hard to find good mid-length ones. Though I guess maybe I could look into buying them somewhere else besides the local thrift shop...though they are better!

Looks great- love the shoes too!
