So hard to choose but I love all of these items.

Be still my Chie Mihara Heart. Love that ankle strap.  The Green Cape from Anthro is on my Wish List too.  If you hold out, most of this might make sale. Eventually.  Although Anthro has been holding out on us on so many dresses lately.  Makes me want to scream!

I don't understand the Cuff from Tiffany's.  I can't even figure out how you would wear it Jess.

The Kate Spade skirt has been on the top of my wishlist ever since I saw it on the website.  I loved the Anthro cape too...until I tried it on.  I seriously looked like a goomba from Super Mario Bros.  I guess 5'3" me needs some longer legs to pull that look off.  Great picks!

Mmmm...how I love a fall wishlist.  I like the muted tones with black and white contrasting prints! The Tibi dress is gorgeous, and the Frank Gehry bracelet is fun!

Oh the capelet - I am wishing for the perfect one to show up for me for fall too!

Oh, I meant to say that I tried the plain silver version of the Gehry cuff (not the exact one you posted).

I've tried that Tiffany's cuff on and it's great!  I chose the knots cuff instead, though (I have the knots ring, so it made sense to choose the cuff to go with it), but I really like the industrial-type look of the Gehry collection.  The most amazing cuff that I tried on, though, was the bone cuff.  Swooooon.  I wanted it, but it seemed a bit impractical since it's so large (it smudged all over the beautiful silver when I was putting it on).  Still, it's definitely on my "things I'd buy if a random stranger gave me $500" wishlist (I like to keep my wishlists narrowly tailored for unusual circumstances) :))))

Ooh the knots pieces are gorgeous. I also love the cuffs. I keep telling myself it will be a present I buy for ____ accomplishment but whenever any accomplishment is achieved, I talk myself out of it due to price. In the meanwhile, it is on me "if a stranger gave me $500 or I hit the lottery" wishlist because you are right that wishlists should be narrowly tailored for both remote and likely circumstances. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks so much! If only the plum bag didn't cost such a premium price. This wishlist should have included a "if I hit the lottery" qualifier.

I know! I do think that the limited appeal of the cape will send it to sale. I hope, at least.

Jesspgh of Consume or Consumed said...

hahah I bet I will have the same problem! I have been known to buy things that make me look like a potato or a rectangle but only on major sale. I am also 5'3 so I empathize.

That Kate Spade skirt! I died when I saw it. It shall be mine but only after some major sale stalking cause it is way pricey at the moment.

The bump part goes on the wrist bone but I would need the opposite one because I would want to wear it on my right hand (as I write with my left). I *think* you meant in the question how to wear it logistically. If you mean how to wear it in a wardrobe, you raise a good point. It might be a little edgy compared to the majority of my closet. But I view the wishlist as a fantasy arena where I can play with aesthetics, no matter how improbable.

The PS1 has been on my wishlist for so long. Almost as long as the Chloe Paraty... Sadly neither seem to go on sale in colors I want.

:) Thanks so much! I hope you find one to wish for, also!

That tibi dress would be so amazing on you. I actually think it would be a bit of a mess on me but I can really see it on your taller, more lithe figure.

Thanks Anjali! I agree the color palette is pretty harmonious and kind of muted. I usually wear a lot of color in fall so it is surprising. Though there are a lot of prints.

I love that tibi dress but the length would be pretty awful on me. Sometimes my wishlists are more fantasy than reality.

I know what you mean about abstract categories rather than tangibles. I have a few of those too. I need a black skirt, for example. I have a few printed ones already but am missing something plain.

How funny Jess.  I really only put stuff I am completely serious about in my Wish Lists.  Otherwise they would get out of control.  My Anthro ones already are.  I am maxed at 5 lists with 200 to 300 items in each.  Every couple of months I have to delete.  It takes several minutes just to load them.  I could easily spend an hour just trying to delete stuff.

really like the dresses...oh i can't wait for fall! especially the black one - great with a pair of riding boots. Did you ending up choosing one (or all)?

that tibi dress is calling my  name!  I've started a fall wishlist too but right now it's nothing tangible, just "cropped jeans", "bright pink cardigan", and "boyfriend blazer".  Guess it's time to get online shopping! :)

Oh my gosh, the color of that PS satchel is amazing.  I love all of your fall picks Jess!  There is a similar feel and color palette tying them together, but they also represent such a spectrum of possibility!

I really love that PS1!! I walked past Intermix this past weekend and they have several PS1 bags and clutches in the window and I started to cry, lol.
