I snapped this shot after eating four courses of food and drinks. And thank goodness that dress was stretchy. But I felt good. It was really fun to wear something unlike my tried and true. And I was glad to get use from something that I have owned and not worn for years. Thank you for your input.

I think the verbiage is wrong. It's not tight, it's fitted. And you look like several million dollars in it. I love it on you!
I love this. The fitted skirt on the dress is very flattering and the proportions really work on your body. I'd love to see you wearing more like this---maybe a pencil skirt some time?

You look fantastic! I love your hair too. I have a similar body shape as you, and have recently begun wearing fitted skirts. I have been shocked at the number of compliments I receive! It just goes to show that we really shouldn't be so self-conscious, I guess. Confidence looks good!

Vespa. I did know that at one point. I think they came in a beautiful rust color, in addition to the green.
Thank you Laura! I really did feel inspired to try this shape again for fall. With the added security of some control top tights, I think I'll feel better about it overall.
You're right. That is a really good point, Desert Flower! Fitted and tight are not the same. Though I would argue that after that meal, it was a little tight. haha
