Another day, another outfit

Tibi skirt (from Outnet)
Sinequanone ruffle top
ChloƩ padlock flats (from ebay; similar here)

Things are so hectic with the new semester and my own research/writing schedule that I hardly had time to notice that this was a big week for shopping! Between Missoni for Target (I stopped in on my way home from work yesterday to find a series of empty racks and shelves) and the Anthropologie first/second/third cuts I imagine many pocketbooks are lighter! In keeping with my plans for an austere fall, I will only shop vicariously via Google Reader and my Fashionism.org friends. Did you buy anything?

Also wanted to add, thank you for your comment on Roxy's latest post. Well thought-out.

You look great Jess, love this skirt on you! I was tempted to go to my local Target, but I think I'll sit this one out. I don't need anything so with that logic, I'm good with what I've got!

I didn't buy anything, although I was tempted by the Anna Sui map skirt.  I'm sticking to my wishlist and trying hard to avoid impulse buying.  I think the skirt would be worth it to me at $50, but not at $90.  So far this season, I've been pretty good about not buying (too many) things!

I did get a couple of Missoni cardigans online at 6 a.m.  We'll see if they're worth it when they get here.

I bought a cute Missoni dress for my daughter...that's about it.  I didn't buy anything from Anthro, but I'm still waiting for the Chiseled Wedges to go on sale.

This is lovely!  I like that you kept the styling simple and allowed the skirt to be the star.

I didn't even attempt checking out Target...I haven't seen the whole Missoni collection online yet, but I'm not super-into it based on what I've seen so far.  Ah well, it's for the best.

Love the skirt! I'm still trying to stick to GAAD for the rest of the year, so no new purchases for me.  I have to admit that I'm not overwhelmed by the clothes in the Missoni line from what I've seen.
