Haphazard outfit

See by Chloé dress
Calvin Klein cardigan (similar here)
Misc. enamel bracelets (similar here, here, and here)

I threw this drapey cardigan (from TJ Maxx clearance last winter) over a too-big See by Chloé dress the other week. I think it helped reign in the volume without the need for belting. I think I've become too belt-dependent. So I'm trying to branch out again. I know these photos could be better. I was trying a new spot in my office (at the end of the day like usual) and cut off my shoes. But I took a shoe photo!

Stuart Weitzman studded flats (in blue here; similar here)

Maybe I will ask for a mini tripod for Christmas so I can use my new camera in my office?

I know what you mean about the belts---I tend to overrely on them as well.  I like the idea of allowing the weight of a garment to do the work that a belt otherwise would.

belted addict here too!  and yet, it's not always the best solution- I like the length of the cardigan, almost as long as the dress.

I love shots of just the shoes- it's such a cute 'perspective' image.

I agree with the belt situation. I noticed how dependent I have become on mine to make an outfit complete. I think I would like to veer away from the idea of "put a belt on it". Pretty dress and shoes, great colors.

Funny.  I use a draped cardigan to "fix" a silhouette a lot too--it seems counterproductive, but it works every time.  This is so lovely!
