Montserrat Dress Review
The feminine, subtle print of the Montserrat Dress drew me to it initially. And its lovely, flattering pleats shot this Moulinette Souers number to the top of my current wishlist. I LOVE this dress. With my transitioning figure I worry about buying something that I might soon be unable to wear. I have enough clothing that will be taunting me from my closet as my belly grows. So that is why this is wishlisted, waiting for sale time and not already home with me. But it is so pretty and perfect for summer. I grabbed an 8 which fit fine. The length in non-petite was perfect, in my opinion. Of course, I should clarify for the sake of honesty in reviewing, my bust is a bit fuller than usual and my waist is thicker too. Still the 8 fit comfortably. Because 8 is the size I can usually take in this particular brand, I will say this dress fits typically, if not perhaps big. It is cotton with a poly lining and back zip. It is available in both petite and regular lengths. Although the website says this is an online exclusive, the nearby Mt. Lebanon store had a full rack. What do you think of this dress?

I love that dress!!!
Jess,
I don't usually comment here, but had to delurk on this post. I haven't visited your blog in a few days and finally caught up with the last two posts. I must say (no, scream!) congratulations! As a newlywed, media academic and fellow fashionista, your blog really resonates with me. I look forward to seeing and hearing about the next few months! So so happy for you.
ps: That dress looks lovely on you, but with all the excitement, I forgot to mention it :-)
the print of the dress is lovely. So, do you have access to maternity clothes in your size?
That looks beautiful on you!!
Congrats. I know I'm late to the party, but just caught your post where you shared the news. Happy Days I am sure:)
Thank you! I am really excited!
I really want it! Thanks for your kind compliment.
I don't own maternity clothing yet. I bought a b-band at Target but it seems unnecessary right now. I also bought a few work-appropriate dresses that I think will be good for the fall semester. But I don't yet fit into maternity on the whole. I am curious about how my body will end up and I am loathe to buy things that I might outgrow when I really need maternity clothing. Right now I'm "in between" I guess?
Thank you so much! This is such a sweet comment and it really made my day. I also just started following your blog and am excited to find a compatriot in discipline and in interests!!
Me too!! I want it but it would be super impractical to buy a full price style when my body is about to change big time.
looks very cute
check out my blog and, if you want, let's follow each other on GFC or Bloglovin' or both ;)
