Underneath the Two Paths trench, I wore this to the museum. It was a cool day.
Charter Club cardigan from Macys (similar here)
Lauren Moffatt Daisy Quarter Skirt from Anthropologie (I took a size 8 though the 6 fit too) (similar here)
Chloe flats (similar here; budget here)
Spanx tights
But the week before that, it was warm so I wore it as shown above (bonus speck paws).
Old Navy v neck t-shirt (similar here)
Linea Pelle belt from Anthropologie (similar here; budget here)
Daisy Quarter Skirt by Lauren Moffatt from Anthropologie (similar here)
Chie Mihara t-strap pumps (similar here; budget here)
Crystal Initial Necklace from Anthropologie (similar here)
Swatch watch
I remember looking at this skirt online and not thinking much about it (beyond the $$$ full pricetag) until I saw Sandy Lilykind from Fashionism wearing it in a photo. She said she scored it on a mega sale. Because she and I are sort of body twins, I sought from her size info and decided to track it down.
The above looks would not be possible without a little help from my Internet friends. I have to give a special shout out to the amazing community of commenters over at Effortless Anthropologie! One of them spotted a size 8 of this skirt at a store in California, and put it on hold for me (like under my first name and everything)! I was able to call and have it sent to me. Thank you so much to Roxy for maintaining her thorough, effortful blog!

I love the flats especially! Great ootd!
I am so glad that you finally got the skirt! It looks great, and I love the way you wore it. The button down with it is perfect for the museum.
I love this skirt and actually bought it when it finally went down to $49.95! I got a size 4 because I had read on Effortless Anthropologie that it ran big...but for some reason on me it's really tight and comes up really high! It looks great on you, do you find the high waist bothersome at all? I guess I can just wear a top over the waistband so you can't see how high it comes up, but I'm really bummed out and wish I'd ordered the 6! What do you suggest? (Other than for me to lose 10 lbs, haha)
Thank you Flan!
Tien, I was so excited to find it, too! Thanks for the compliment.
Anonymous 11:28, I tried on the size 6 about two weeks ago at the Mt. Lebanon store and it fit but had to be higher up but I didn't think it looked bad. By then I had already bought via charge send the size 8.
If I were you, I would wear it with a cardigan. Like a semi-cropped one (that falls at the waist rather than down to the upper hips) to try to alter the aesthetic proportions. Or I would tuck in a shirt and wear a belt with it, owning the higher waist. That exposed zipper and the waistband details are too cute to hide! I'm sure it looks lovely on you!
If you are really uncomfortable with wearing it high up you can try to swap someone on the Trade Market on Effortless Anthropologie. Or if it is still nwt, you could return the 4 if you find the 6 in a store (i.e. Try calling Mt. Lebanon where I saw it not long ago). Good luck with it! This skirt is so pretty and so nice irl, that it is worth owning (though not worth starving yourself to do it).
Thank you! I will call the Mt. Lebanon store! I agree, I LOVE this skirt!
I am crossing my fingers for you that they still have it! Good luck!
Yay! The skirt was made for you, you look amazing in it. Love the Anthro community, such a great group of gals. :)
