Dreaming of Fall Already in Wool See by Chloé

This wool babydoll dress with a peter pan collar by See by Chloe was a recent ebay find. The auction included one lone and blurry camera phone photo of the dress. But it was just clear enough that I could spot exactly which frock it was. I had lost an auction for another one only a few weeks prior! Whereas, I was the lone bidder for the newer listing. The wool is thick making it pretty difficult to wear unless I do so on an evening when the weather dips into the 50s. Luckily for me last night it did!

See by Chloé black babydoll dress (many seasons old but new to me!) (similar here, here, and here)
Marc by Marc Jacobs captoe mary jane pumps (similar here, here, and here)
Kate Spade Larabee Dot bag (similar here, here, and here)
You might have noticed that the hallway is brighter than it once was. That is because last night Chris and I switched the fixture! Well, Chris did the actual work but I held things and was an excellent helper.
It is now so bright, I can't get my flash to induce on its own! I had to turn it out.
I'll update about the sale next! Picking out things to sell was challenging and bittersweet. In the process, the above Kate Spade bag I had originally listed on Bonanzle has found its way back into my rotation. I have to take the listing down. It is sort of funny and annoying that something I was so sure about selling seems to have endless wardrobe possibilities. .

Love the dress (thinking wistfully of autumnal dressing even whilst revelling in sundresses!) and love crappy ebay pictures even more. If you know what it is, but no one else does...

Awesome.

I really love the dress. I think that will have endless use in cooler weather. I am crazy about your shoes. I love the cap toe.

I am glad you kept the bag.

LOVE this dress (and everything else too), Jess. How lucky you are that it popped back so quickly and you didn't have to wait a long time to wear it. The cap toed shoes and the green bag are amazing with this look.

That's such a fabulous dress - you look amazing! I've never found something like that on ebay...

Thank you so much, Jasmine and Muzzleloader!

Sarah, I felt so fortunate and sneaky. I had even asked for clearer photos to make sure it was the right one which were promised but never posted by the seller!

Desert Flower, I am glad I kept the bag too! It is big and the shade of green is really lovely. I look forward to styling the dress for fall with tights and what not!

Carole, I was super lucky to find it so quickly! That is not my typical experience when I lose an auction.

Little Miss Plump, thanks so much! I get far too many of my dresses on ebay.

'Sorry to hear it's chilly in your neck of the woods, again. Spring is ridiculous. That dress is ridiculously awesome, and even more gorgeous with those B.A. shoes.

Also, I'm taking notes from you and your other commentators to improve my ebay skills.

Spring is so confusing but I actually prefer the chill. Thank you for the compliments!

Ebay is my not so secret closet weapon.
