Wore this to a doctor's appointment and to run errands afterwards on one of my two weekdays off. The Lauren Moffatt skirt is Anthropologie via the Gabes clearance rack. The beaded top is Urban Outfitters via the Gabes clearance rack. I hadn't visited a Gabriel Brothers for a while but I made a pit stop on the way from the office to Nordstrom, where I had to make a return for my mother. So it was fitting that I was clad shoulder to knee in Gabes' finest. The shoes are Miu Miu and the bag is Jenny Yuen.
Though Forever 21 came up (literally) short, Gabes was a comparative success. I found a few items in the home section for my office at work. And my best find was from the Anthropologie clearance rack.
I scored the Doubly Dapper dress for a very low price and in my size! Though it is hit or miss, Gabes can be a shopping treasure trove.

If you are talking about the Huntington, WV Gabes they do have some Anthro but they no longer have a labled rack (or at least had gotten rid of it when I last lived there last year). Normally I find it around the Ann Taylor section mixed in.
So jealous, I wish I still lived near a Gabes! Great finds!

Hah thanks guys! Gabes is this closeout/defect store that happens to get Anthropologie cast offs now and then. And although it takes a lot of patience and repeat visits and digging, every once in a while great things are unearthed from the racks. Often times though, I find gorgeous stuff I want only to realize it has a huge slit down the back or a big hole in it or other defects.
