In the spirit of less being more, I wore all black on this very chilly day. The dress is by DVF (called Bilboa). It is one of my warmest, coziest dresses. It's also simple, allowing me to view it as a blank canvas. I paired it with three gold tone necklaces, tights, and boots.
Marc by Marc Jacobs funnel neck shearling coat (from 2006ish)
DVF dress
Steven by Steve Madden Intyce boots
Burberry Scarf
Plinio Visona bag
Vintage necklaces
PSA: Clean your lens! I hadn't for ages and it made such a difference. The photo on the top left is after lens cleaning and the others are before. Oof! haha

I LOVE this outfit.
somehow on really cold days layers of black really are the coziest...
heh. your psa reminded me to clean my glasses actually...computer screen looks clearer...
Thank you, pretty!
thatdamngreendress, somehow black just FEELS warmer. It is totally irrational. haha I swear I clean my glasses a thousand times a day.
Wow, I really like that coat! I love that your blog incorporates so much MBMJ. I recognize a lot of the pieces from the past and love that!!!
I am LOL at your PSA but you bet when I get home tonight, I'm cleaning my lens! I've always liked that dvf and it looks really good on you!
Thank you, tippy! I was a huge mbmj junkie for a while. I still sort of am. But I find myself coveting only a piece here and there from current collections (rather than entire seasons worth of the clothes like I used to).
A Stylized Hysteria, it makes a difference, I swear! I need to do a thorough clean. Thanks for the compliment!
