Long day OOTD

I wore this dress to campus for some meetings, then dinner with friends, followed by drinks with my Covey cofounders. It was a long, full day but I did manage to remember to snap a quick photo before I left campus (hence the bag inclusion as I was on my way to my car).

I bought the dress at the Boden sample sale in Pittsburgh. Now that I see this photo, I am not loving the fit but I do love the print, color, and light linen-blend fabric. I have a huge wish list from Boden's a/w 14 offerings and find the brand is replacing Anthropologie as my go-to for fun, interesting, but still work-life friendly clothing. If only they had a brick and mortar store where I could try on all the things before ordering.

Details:
Boden Boho dress
Marc by Marc Jacobs mouse flats (sling back version on major sale here)
Kate Spade newspaper print bag (my tote is long gone but this periodic table tote is adorable and you can still get a newsprint ipad or iphone case!)

I think the fit looks great on you. It's a beautiful dress! I need to check out Boden more often. My postpartum body still seems like its in a state of transition so I really haven't done much shopping in general lately.

Oh, I like this! I don't think the fit looks off at all! But then we're always our worst critics about imperceptible things... (although I once read some snarky comment on GOMI about someone having sad boobs, and now I always wonder and second-guess whether my undergarments are sufficient!)

I love the Boden catalogue but have only made the plunge a couple of times- would love to run amok in their sale section someday!

Honestly
I think the dress is very flattering on you. I love the color. Thanks for the post. I like a lot of things I see at Borden but rarely order. I might have to bite the bullet!

I think the fit is great. I really like it. And the color is so pretty. I would buy this dress in a heartbeat (if only I had not reached my limit for the month all ready from one dress at Anthro and an unexpected huge sale at a local boutique. I purchased three items made by a brand called Luna Luz. Have you heard of them?). I have never shopped at Boden. I did not know they had boho. But I am checking it out now. You look so pretty!
