Orphan from the 1930s style OOTD

I'm not adapting to this cold weather so easily. And it shows in the sad look on my face. Above I'm wearing a See by Chloé dress, MBMJ maryjane pumps, and Spanx tights. Although the dress looks like a child of the Great Depression's potato sack, I find comfort in the thick knit of the jersey and the loose fit of the silhouette.  After all the delicious and indulgent food I ate on my honeymoon and into the holiday weekend, I am grateful for comfortable, forgiving frocks.

Glad to have you back, I hope you had an amazing time on your honeymoon.

Agree on dresses that are basically jammies= amazing and a life saver.

I'm with you. I'm all about warmth and comfort the last few days. Things that will accomodate the epic holiday food baby are getting a lot of use in my wardrobe. I love the color of your dress, reminds me of warm caramel. Mmmmmm, warm :)

It is good to be back, miss b!

Rosa, I probably rely on the sack too often but they're just so comfy!

Min, thank you! I like the drapey volume of it.

Desert Flower, I love this color too! I definitely gravitate toward it in cooler months especially.
