Quick weekend shopping OOTD

J. Crew draped neck silk blouse
Michael Kors Calista hobo
Misc. bracelets (gift, KJL, Target)

I wore this to the mall with a girlfriend where I got my new watch band fitted to my wrist and grabbed some pretty table linens from Williams Sonoma who was having a huge clearance sale. It's nice to go to the mall in January cause it is so much more peaceful than it is in the lead up to Christmas.

How was your weekend?

haha I know what you mean. I had that problem in previous holiday shopping seasons. This one had me shopping online more than ever so I avoided a lot of the crowds. The sales are so tempting right now. It's a good time to update household linens with all the white sales!

I had a lovely shopping day in Georgetown today, and like you said, the relaxed pace was much appreciated.  I, however, did not have a gorgeous white fair isle sweater to wear (seriously, it's lovely).

Hi Jess!  I'm a Pittsburgh reader and I thought I would give you a heads up that my local Gabes had a huge selection of Anthropologie in this week.  I picked up a pair of white Citizens of Humanity skinnies for 9.99.  And, what I thought was a mistake, a flawless Leifsdottir dress for .50.  I was surprised with their great selection considering the holidays!

Awh, thank you.  I always enjoy reading your blogs and seeing your beautiful outfits!

I always ask the Gabes' employees when they do their shipment.  I've come to see that quite a few of them do it on either a Tuesday or Wednesday.  It's always hit or miss though!

I dislike the ebay poaching as well.  I sometimes look up an item online after I buy it at Gabes to see the selling price (so I can be proud of myself for such a good deal!).  I am shocked at the prices of items listed on ebay that I know were purchased at Gabes for a much lower price.  It's one thing to make a couple of bucks off of an item, but another thing entirely to have a starting price 4-5 times higher than what you paid!
